Nolan man of match? Please. He didn't make a raving spastic out of himself ONCE and all of a sudden he's man of the match. He was fine, nothing more and nothing less.

I didn't say I thought it should be Noble, although if i did it would be as relevant as you saying it was Nolan.
Noble was 'Officially' Man of the match. So it makes your thread factually incorrect as well as pointless.
But apart from that -great x

For him it was a better performance , but MOM no way. He did not do enough in my opinion to warrant that accolade.

The team played better with him too because of his leadership, like I said he is important until we get another leader. That is a fact most on here donīt realize

Unofficially and in my opinion, Nolan was the stand out man of the match for us.
Hazard was superb for them though.

I do wonder if some people were watching a different game.
What did Nolan do to warrant being man of the match; Make the occasional tackle? Close down an opponent on the ball? He was playing centre mid - that's what he's supposed to do. It's not an extraordinary performance if you do exactly what is expected and no more.
For me, I thought Kouyate was our best player, followed by Downing for his second half performance, they were two players who looked like getting us back in the match.

Collins, Kouyate and Downing were very good too but Sakho should have scored of one or 2, he got the chances !

I'd say it was between Kouyate and Nolan, as they did their respective jobs better than the others did their respective jobs, but the whole team were doign a good job, at the very least, other than Sakho, who got into the right positions, but alas couldn't quite finish as well as we know he can. He'll be the one most disappointed with his performance.

Kouyate was up there to be fair, he had a good game. Downing was like Noble, they did some good things but not throughout the whole game.
Nolan was everywhere and was bang up for it. He gave Fabregas a tough game. He got stuck in, played some good stuff and he was a leader. If you only think he was mediocre then I think you are just judging him because you don't want him in the team. He isn't a first choice for me neither, but credit should be given when it is due. He was excellent.
